A protocol of educational cooperation was signed between KAEU and Khazar University. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Rector of Khazar University Asssoc. Prof. Dr. Irada Khalilova and representatives of Khazar University participated in the protocol ceremony at Khazar University.

Within the scope of KAEU's internationalization policy, this significant cooperation protocol aims to advance cultural and educational collaboration between Turkiye and Azerbaijan and enable cooperation in education and research in shared fields of both universities. Additionally, under this five-year protocol, both universities will encourage collaboration among faculty members, departments, research institutes, and students.

The areas of cooperation covered by the protocol include faculty and student exchange, joint research activities, courses, and e-learning classes, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of published academic materials and other information resources, and special short-term academic programs. Within the faculty exchange program, the host institution will provide office space for faculty members and researchers participating in the exchange program and grant access to libraries and other facilities. Furthermore, under the student exchange, as long as the agreement is in effect, the host institution will not charge tuition fees for exchange students.


Commenting on the signed cooperation protocol, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized the importance of such collaborations within the scope of internationalization policies, noting that our university has made significant progress in this regard. Rector Karahocagil stated that the protocol would facilitate and increase student exchange programs, enable academic and scientific information exchange, and strengthen cooperation between the two universities. He wished for the agreement to be beneficial for both institutions.
