Turkish Amputee National Football Team, who won the championship cup at the Balkan Championship, visited Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. On October 31, 2024, Rector Karahocagil congratulated the Turkish Amputee National Football Team, who became the Balkan Champion. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil was accompanied by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek and Prof. Dr. Musa Özata during the visit.

Turkish Amputee National Football Team prepared for the Balkan Championship at KAEU Stadium. At the KAEU Sports Health Research, Application, and Thermal Rehabilitation Center (SAUTER), which is one of the important projects of our university in the field of health, health screenings, measurements and health checks of the Amputee National Football Team were carried out by our specialist doctors. Expressing their satisfaction for preparing for the Balkan Championship at our university, the Amputee National Football Team thanked the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil for providing them with all kinds of support.

Rector Karahocagil stated that our university and Kırşehir would be the center of athlete health and health tourism with SAUTER and that their work in the field would continue.
