The Turkish Amputee National Team, currently in camp in Kırşehir, will continue their training at the Ahi Evran University Stadium until October 15. During their free time from the intensive training schedule, the national team participated in various activities, including a talk held on October 9, 2024, at the KAEU 15 July Hall of the Congress and Culture Center. Organized by the Vocational School of Health Services and Kırşehir businessman Mustafa Düger, owner of the Orthotek company, the event featured participation from the Turkish Amputee National Football Team’s Head Coach İsmail Temiz, Goalkeeper Coach İlhan Elmalı, and players İbrahim Uçakcı, Zülfücan Derinpınar, and Umut Can Köse.

The program began with a thank-you speech by Seyde Büşra Kodak, a lecturer at the Vocational School of Health Sciences. Following this, the Turkish National Amputee Football Team engaged in a Q&A session. The event, attended by academic and administrative staff as well as students, allowed the Amputee National Team to answer participants' questions. The talk was especially valuable for students from the Orthotics and Prosthetics Program at the Vocational School of Health Services, as it provided insights into how individuals using prosthetics live and how sports play a role in helping them adapt to life. Additionally, the talk explored ways to encourage students with disabilities to get involved in sports. The program concluded with the taking of a group photo.
