In an era where science and technology are rapidly advancing, KAEU views research and development (R&D) as one of the key elements shaping the future. By prioritizing R&D and innovation, KAEU aims to contribute to society and the economy, making these areas central to our strategic goals. National and international achievements continue to solidify our university's position in scientific productivity. Notably, projects supported by TÜBİTAK 1001, 1002, 2209, 4004, 3005, 2203, and 2237 programs and other funding initiatives further strengthen our R&D and innovation efforts. Among these projects, the involvement of our faculty and undergraduate and graduate students is particularly significant. Student-led projects provide young scientists with early research experience, fostering innovative thinking and contributing to science at an early stage.

Our university continues to contribute to the nation's scientific progress through projects led by our academics and students, supported by TÜBİTAK programs such as the 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects, 1002 Short-Term Support Program, 4004 Education in Nature and Science Camps/Schools Support Program, 3005 Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Research Projects Funding Program, 2203 National Undergraduate Project Competition, and the 2237 Grant Program for Scientific Training. Especially, TÜBİTAK’s 2209-A and 2209-B programs, which support student projects, reflect the value our university places on nurturing young talent.

In this context, our university is committed to continuously supporting the research efforts of both its academics and students. Through contributions to the innovation ecosystem, we are determined to maintain a leading role in the national and international scientific community.
