Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil held meetings with various public institutions and organizations during his visit to Ankara on October 2-3, 2024. As part of his visit, Rector Karahocagil met with the General Manager of the State Supply Office (DMO) Şinasi Candan, President of the Social Security Institution (SGK) Dr. Raci Kaya, Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Director General of Public Health Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Emin Demirkol, President of the Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB) Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan, and President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK) Dr. Asım Hocaoğlu. The meetings were attended by the former Director General of Services for the Disabled and Elderly at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and a member of the Organizing Committee of the Future of Healthcare Industry Workshop Uzm. Dr. Orhan Koç.
During the meetings, Rector Karahocagil explained that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, in collaboration with the University of Health Sciences, Gebze Technical University, and Kocaeli University, and with the partnership of civil society organizations, will organize the "Future of Healthcare Industry Workshop" hosted by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Gebze. He emphasized that they met with representatives of public institutions and organizations to discuss the developments in the health sector and exchange ideas on this subject. He also mentioned the health projects that the university has implemented, underscoring the significant strides Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has made in the health sector. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil highlighted the importance of collaborating with all institutions to advance the healthcare system in Turkiye and extended invitations to the General Manager of the State Supply Office (DMO) Şinasi Candan, President of the Social Security Institution (SGK) Dr. Raci Kaya, Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Director General of Public Health Assoc. During the meetings, Rector Karahocagil also congratulated Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar on his reappointment as the Rector of Ankara University, wishing him success in his role.

Following the meetings, Rector Karahocagil and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş attended the "Normal Labour Action Plan Introduction Meeting" held at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center under the auspices of the First Lady of Turkiye Emine Erdoğan. At the meeting, themed “Natural Birth is Normal Labour,” First Lady Emine Erdoğan and Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu delivered speeches, while the Director General for Health Promotion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Atak presented the details of the Action Plan.
