A protocol was signed between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University (KAEÜ) and the Kırşehir Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen to encourage joint work and develop cooperation. The collaboration protocol includes working together in scientific activities such as joint congresses, symposiums, workshops, and panels, as well as in various social, cultural, and sports activities. It also involves mutual assistance and the establishment of a research and application center focused on the Abdal tradition, Neşet Ertaş, and contemporary Abdals. The signing ceremony was attended by Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, President of the Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Bahamettin Öztürk, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Dr. Nadir İlhan, Head of the Turkish Language and Literature Department Prof. Dr. Salahaddin Bekki, and members of the board of the tradesmen's union.
With this collaboration protocol, which will be valid for five years, the aim is to promote lasting cooperation between the city's tradesmen and craftsmen and our university, contributing to the social and cultural development of the city. At the signing ceremony, Rector Karahocagil expressed his satisfaction with signing the cooperation protocol with the Kırşehir Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, emphasizing the importance of protocols made with partner institutions for the growth and development of the city.
