Emphasizing the importance of the Akhism Week celebrations, which were enthusiastically organized every year, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil highlighted the significance of the Akhism culture for our civilization. He stated that while educating the youth, it was also necessary to pass on the Akhism culture to them, continuing: "As our youth gain professional skills, they must be aware of honesty, brotherhood, and professional ethics. The most important step in creating this awareness is to ensure that they are trained and shaped by the Akhism culture. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University introduces our students to the Akhism culture through our curriculum, which includes the Akhism Culture and Civilization course, and through the Akhism symposiums we organize." Rector Karahocagil expressed his happiness that Akhism celebrations were held in all 81 provinces and pledged to do everything they could to revive the Akhism culture in this land.

During the celebrations held between September 23 and 29, 2024, our city will host many events. As part of the fully packed Akhism Week celebrations, the VII International Akhism Symposium on "Tradespeople and Crafts from Past to Present" will be held at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University on September 27, 2024.
