The Times Higher Education (THE), the world's leading London-based higher education rating agency, announced the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024 list of the world’s best universities. The Times Higher Education judges the world’s universities that are 50 years old or younger across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook – to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University achieved a new success by ranking in the 601+ band among the world’s best universities.
According to the Turkish Council of High Education (CoHE), THE 2024 Young University Rankings included 673 universities, up from 605 in 2023. Turkiye has the highest number of institutions ranked, at 58 while Turkiye had universities in the ranking up from 47 last year and just 23 in 2020.
