More than a year has passed after the February 6 earthquake described as "the disaster of the century". Malatya is one of the cities that were mostly affected by the quake. Student Communities of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Directorate of Sports, Culture, and Health visited Malatya İnönü University on March 8, 2024, to help people relieve their pains and struggles. Student communities were welcomed by the Rector of Malatya İnönü University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay and executives. Later, students planted trees at the university campus as a memorial. Student communities who visited the container city in the nearby area shared the sorrows of the earthquake survivors and expressed hopes that such tragedies would never happen again.
