Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil visited Çorum to participate in the Hitit University Science and Technology Festival and engage in various meetings on March 8, 2024. The festival, held on March 8-9, aimed to promote the R&D and innovation ecosystem of Hitit University, Çorum, and the surrounding provinces. It provided a platform for industry and public institutions and academics, high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to showcase their projects. Attending the opening program of the Science and Technology Festival and later touring the festival area, Rector Karahocagil emphasized that such festivals served as opportunities for institutions and scientists to showcase their work, contributing significantly to regional development. He also highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing through such events and expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization of the festival.

Rector of Çorum Hitit University, Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk, hosted the rectors of regional universities who came to Çorum for the festival at his office. In the meeting, attended by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil as well, discussions were held on the development processes, areas of specialization, and scientific studies of universities. Additionally, Rector Karahocagil, along with other regional rectors present in Çorum for the festival, visited Çorum Governor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zülkif Dağlı, at his office.

As part of his visits to Çorum, Rector Karahocagil paid a visit to the Mayor of Çorum, Halil İbrahim Aşgın, and the Provincial Director of National Education of Çorum, Abdullah Kodek, at their offices for consultations. During the meetings, which were conducted in a spirit of mutual exchange of ideas, Rector Karahocagil provided information about the quality, specialization, regional development, and R&D studies carried out by our university. Expressing that they had a very productive visit to Çorum, Karahocagil emphasized the importance of such visits in terms of sharing experiences and conveyed his gratitude to everyone who contributed.
