In the TÜBİTAK BİGG Program 2023 1st Term Application, 2885 entrepreneurial business ideas were submitted, and 153 of them were accepted by receiving the Excellence Seal. The 153 entrepreneurs who qualified for the Excellence Seal will establish their companies in December and sign contracts with the BiGG Fund. They will start working on implementing their business plans from January 1, 2024.

The business idea proposed by our faculty members has also been accepted as one of the three business ideas within the scope of TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent. It aims to address the challenges in silage production, one of the essential roughage sources in Turkiye's livestock sector, and provide a solution to the quality issues encountered in silage production with the proposed business idea. In this regard, the project aims to produce the first domestic and national phytogenic silage additive using Nanotechnology as an alternative to imported additives commonly used in silage production. The project results will contribute significantly to achieving Turkiye's 2053 Net Zero Emission goals.
