Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil made a series of visits in Ankara on November 30, 2023. Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş Secretary General Dr. Hüseyin İlter accompanied Rector Karahocagil during the visits. Firstly, Rector Karahocagil visited the President of the Higher Education Quality Board (THEQC) Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak. Rector Karahocagil gave information to Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak regarding academic studies, EFQM and quality processes, and other works of KAEU. President of THEQC Kocabıçak congratulated KAEU for getting the award of five stars in the EFQM Model Superior Performance Competency Assessment.
After his visit to the President of the Higher Education Quality Board (THEQC) Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, Rector Karahocagil visited the Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu in his office. During the visit, the future cooperation between the two universities was discussed as well as EFQM and quality processes, pilot projects, academic studies, and social and cultural activities of the universities. Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Prof. Köseoğlu congratulated KAEU for getting the award of five stars in the EFQM Model Superior Performance Competency Assessment and making a name for quality studies.
Later, Rector Karahocagil visited the Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar in his office. Rector Karahocagil, who expressed that KAEU was a pioneer in quality studies, exchanged views with Rector Ünüvar on pilot projects, EFQM and quality processes, education, and research and development works. Rector Ünüvar congratulated KAEU for getting the award of five stars in the EFQM Model Superior Performance Competency Assessment and expressed his gratitude for the visit. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their well wishes towards each other.
