Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang gave a speech titled “Dialogue on the Innovative University of Modern Turkiye: Reflections Towards the Future of Multidisciplinary Research” on November 29, 2023.

Vice-Rector and Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Dean of Medicine Ali Güneş, Dean of Faculty of Science and Literature Prof. Dr. Nadir İlhan attended the program organized by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Technology Transfer Ofice and Science and Literature Faculty Lecture Room, as well as many lecturers and students. Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang gave information about the universities they cooperated with, their international publishments and conferences supported by various NGOs and associations, and various competitions and scientific meetings for graduate students to attend. 

Prof. Chang touched upon the pandemic pandemic affecting the whole world and Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes, which was one of the greatest disasters that occurred in our country, and stated that such experiences demonstrated the vitality of digital communication tools. Chang mentioned the point of technology reached and would transform, and stated that artificial intelligence such as Chat GPT would greatly influence health informatics. Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang highlighted the importance of cooperation between Türkiye and Taiwan. He stated that they were open to working with Turkish researchers.

Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Musa Özata presented the certificate of appreciation to Prof. Chang at the end of the speech and expressed that such collaborations would contribute to the internalization of our university. Prof. Özata stated that scientific collaborations would enable young scientists to develop, interact with the leaders of the scientific world, and be informed about the latest scientific studies. Lastly, he thanked Prof. Chang for his visit.

Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang visited Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil in his office. Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang was accompanied by Vice-Rector and Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Musa Özata and Director of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Technology Transfer Ofice Inst. Mahmut Sarı during the visit. Rector Karahocagil expressed his gratitude for his visit and speech and thanked him. 

Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Chi-Chang Chang expressed his appreciation for visiting Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and stated that they would be pleased to host Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil as honorary president at that 2024 7th International Conference on Healthcare Service Management (ICHSM 2024) will be held in Istanbul during September 6-8, 2024. Prof. Chang gave various Taiwanese traditional gifts to Rector Karahocagil for their interest and hospitality.

Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Musa Özata accepted Prof. Dr. Chi Chang-Chang at his office after they visited Rector Karahocagil. Prof. Özata highlighted the importance of informative presentation of Prof. Chang for our students and wished that their cooperation would last.
