University Assessments & Research Laboratory (ÜNİAR) obtained its 2023 data from 40 thousand students studying at universities in 70 provinces other than the 11 provinces affected by the February 6 earthquake. According to the results determining the satisfaction of students in many different areas, Kırşehir ranked 23rd among the Student Friendly Cities and was among the cities preferred by young people.
Our city, which was ranked 26th in 2022, rose three places this year
The research, which is a part of the University Satisfaction Survey for Turkiye, collected data from 40 thousand students studying in 70 provinces other than the 11 provinces affected by the February 6 Earthquakes. As a result of the research, Kırşehir ranked 23rd this year, while it was 26th the previous year, among the cities where students are happiest living. Our city, which is at the "B" level with an average score of 77, is also reflected in the data that students are happy to live in. ÜNİAR measures students' expectations on issues such as satisfaction with the city, feeling safe in the city, transportation facilities, entertainment, sports, relations with tradesmen, public attitude towards students, excursions, social, artistic and cultural events. Stating that the results were positive for Kırşehir and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Rector Karahocagil said that their goal was to climb to higher levels with the Ahi Competency Based Education System, quality and student-oriented approach.
