II. AR-GE Project Market and University Promotion Days was organized by the Association of Anatolian Universities (AÜB) at Gaziosmanpaşa University. The event aims at a technological vision that fits the Century of Türkiye. President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal attached importance to the visit; he visited all the booths including the booth of KAEU and took detailed information. In this scope, KAEU, which participated in the competition with four different projects,  received the second prize with the initiative project titled "Heat Efficient Lightweight Composite Panel Element Production from Waste Concrete for the Construction of Modular Buildings" with the initiative motto of Sustainable ModularBuild in the category of Engineering and Basic Sciences.



Our Projects Impact Lives

The development of the competency of our university in terms of quality and quantity is evidenced by higher impact factor rankings and successful R&D projects. In the event, the initiative project titled "Heat Efficient Lightweight Composite Panel Element Production from Waste Concrete for the Construction of Modular Buildings" which is coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Furkan Birdal of which team members are  CE  master students Mustafa Kerem Soyal, Emre Şahin, Erkam Köseömür, and  Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasan Dilbaş was awarded second place among many projects in the category of Engineering and Basic Sciences by II. AR-GE Project Market Event of the Association of Anatolian Universities (AÜB).



The Value of the Academy is Realized when Theory Meets Practice.

Prof. Karahocagil who attaches importance to all the works based on R&D and technology said that the value of the academic was realized when theory meets practice. Karahocagil mentioned that the award was an important indicator of that mission, and added that their future goal was to develop technologically innovative projects that contributed to the literature, our country, region, and city.

The closing program which was attended by the researchers, representatives of the universities, and students, ended with the award ceremony and collective photo shoot.
