A promotional meeting for the Unit EFQM Model Representatives was organized by KAEU Quality Management Coordination. Vice-Rector and Quality Coordinator of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Quality Coordinator Assistants Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek and Ekrem Öztürk, along with the quality management coordination team and unit quality representative attended the meeting took place on June 13, 2023, at KAEU Ahi Evran Congress and Cultural Center in the Şeyh Edebali Seminar Hall. 
The opening speech of the meeting was delivered by Vice Rector and Quality Coordinator of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, emphasizing the close relationship between quality and the Ahi tradition. Karahocagil expressed that both Ahi values and quality embodied universal principles, and continued his speech as follows: "With EFQM, our aim is not to simply adopt and implement as it is, but to develop a model that is suitable for us by combining national and universal goals with our own culture. We will collectively develop the Turkish version of the model. We will create an original model based on our own values and foundations." Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil explained that the EFQM process at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University began before the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) and acknowledged that it was slightly delayed due to the global pandemic. Providing detailed information about the EFQM process they started in 2023, Karahocagil expressed his hope that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University would successfully complete this process.
