May the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Building be Good for KAEU
The Islamic Sciences Building, which was brought to our university with the help of the Kırşehir philanthropist Muzaffer Maşrap, was inaugurated. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Secretary-General Mehmet Zeki Küçük, Philanthropist Muzaffer Maşrap, deans, principals, academic and administrative staff, and students attended the ceremony held on May 11, 2023, at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Building.

The opening ceremony, which took place with intense participation, first started with the Quran Recitation and prayer. After the prayers, Philanthropist Muzaffer Maşrap, who provided financial and moral support for the acquisition of the Islamic Sciences Building to our university, made a speech and said, "I am very happy, may Allah grant everyone this feeling."

After the speech of the Philanthropist Muzaffer Maşrap, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya took the floor and said that since 2015, when he took office, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has added many buildings to our university. Explaining that the Ahi Evran University Mosque would be the application center of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya stated that the protocols were signed on the subject. Rector Karakaya, who also mentioned that his main goals were always human-oriented, talked about the importance of having a new Anatolian wisdom that could change and renew people. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya said that they had a civilization of thousand years and they are preparing for the next millennium, and added, "We will continue to prepare for our future with an honorable country that is full of students who have hope for the future." Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya who said "If you work with love, you won't be tired" thanked all the university staff who have worked with him since the day he took office, for their efforts, and wished the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Building to be beneficial for our province and our university.

After the opening speeches, the ribbon cutting was started and the opening of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences was realized. After the opening, Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya and his attendants examined the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Building.
