Reminding that EFQM consisted of 7 criteria, Karakaya said, “Those 7 criteria review each area of the university with a system they call RADAR. It reveals the quality by doing data mining, so to speak, and creates the data that will carry the university to better points.”

We will be the second university to receive the EFQM award after Sakarya University

Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who stated that they were currently nominated for 5 stars during the KalDer EFQM award process, continued as follows: "Institutions are not dependent on individuals, in this sense, its continuity and improvement are important. As of the point we have reached, I know that we will move forward stronger by involving all our colleagues who have internalized EFQM. If we can get the EFQM award, we will be the second university after Sakarya University to receive this award. I wish this decision to be beneficial in order to raise our motivation to the next level with the aim of EFQM together with IAP (Institutional Accreditation Programme)," and gave the floor to Quality Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil.
