In our country, which has experienced one of the biggest natural disasters in the history of the Republic of Turkiye, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues to help earthquake survivors who came to the region and Kırşehir. The in-kind aid campaign launched by our university on the first day of the earthquake continues in coordination with AFAD and other relevant official institutions.

The earthquake, the epicenter of which occurred in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş was intensely felt in the surrounding provinces, especially in Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya, and Adana. Our University launched an in-kind aid campaign for the disaster zone to overcome negative situations and meet the urgent needs of our citizens affected by the earthquake on February 6, 2023. While the first the aid collected within the scope of the campaign was sent to the quake zone by vehicles, the ongoing aid was delivered for the needs of the earthquake victims who came to Kırşehir.
