Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya visited the construction site of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, the construction of which has largely been completed, and received information from the authorities about the development of the construction. During the visit that took place on the construction of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences on January 20, 2023, Rector Karakaya was accompanied by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Secretary-General Mehmet Zeki Küçük, Deputy Secretary Generals and officials of the Directorate of Construction and Technical Affairs, as well as the philanthropist Muzaffer Marşap, who provided financial support to the construction.

Examining the construction of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences on site, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya noted that the construction was about to finish and said, "Our Islamic Sciences Faculty was built in the same architecture as Ahi Evran University Mosque. The faculty was planned to be close to the mosque because some hands-on lessons would, thus, be easily held in the mosque. The construction is complete to a large extent. We are planning to open it for education during the month of Ramadan. That excites both us and the students who will study here. May this education place with such a beautiful architecture bring blessings to our city, our university and our students."
