An information meeting was held at our university about Erasmus+, Mevlana, and Farabi Exchange Programs, which allow students to receive education and internship at the national and international level and enable our university to gain international recognition. KAEU Foreign Relations Office Coordinator staff Instr. Dr. Çiğdem Şahin and Instr. Bülent Demir, academic and administrative staff, and students attended the meeting on December 22, 2022, at the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center Aşık Paşa Hall.

Giving information to students about Erasmus +, Mevlana, and Farabi Exchange Programs, Dr. Çiğdem Şahin first explained the Erasmus + Exchange Program to the students and mentioned the benefits of the exchange program. Explaining that the Erasmus+ Exchange Program allowed students to study for one or two semesters in higher education institutions in European countries that were in bilateral cooperation with our university, Şahin said that the Erasmus+ Exchange Program helped students improve themselves and their foreign languages, visit new countries and gain experience. Dr. Çiğdem Şahin, who gave information to the students about the duration of the Erasmus+ Exchange Program, the questions of the students regarding the application and selection phase, and other processes, answered at the end of her speech.

After the speech of Dr. Çiğdem Şahin, Instr. Bülent Demir took the floor and talked about Farabi, Mevlana, and Erasmus+ Exchange Programs. Stating that Farabi Exchange Program was a student exchange program between higher education institutions in Turkiye, Demir said that Mevlana Exchange Program was an exchange program for countries outside the Erasmus + Exchange Program. Stating that the Erasmus+ Exchange Program was not only for students but also for academic and administrative staff, Instr. Bülent Demir answered students' questions by giving information about the countries with which Erasmus+, Mevlana, and Farabi Exchange Programs had agreements, terms of application to the programs, as well as the scholarships and accommodation opportunities of the programs.
