The "2022 Barrier-Free University Awards", which was initiated by CoHE in 2018 with the aim of raising awareness and making good practices widespread regarding the access of disabled people in higher education institutions to places, educational opportunities, and socio-cultural activities, was awarded. KAEU Faculty of Medicine was entitled to receive the Orange Flag for the arrangements it has made for the disabled regarding "Accessibility in Space".

Presenting its action plan to the Higher Education Institution every year regarding the concept of "Barrier-Free University", KAEU Faculty of Medicine, which implements the projects facilitating the lives of individuals with disabilities, was rewarded the "Orange Flag" within the scope of the "2022 Barrier-Free Universities Awards" organized by CoHE.


We are Happy to Crown Academic Achievements with Social Responsibility Studies

Expressing his happiness, Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya congratulated the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil and his team and said: "We are happy to have crowned academic achievements with social responsibility studies. We act together with students to solve the problems encountered in the education process. We aim to facilitate the access of disabled to places, educational opportunities, and socio-cultural activities, and to spread good practices by raising awareness.”
