KAEU has taken internationalization one step further, which is one of the important building blocks of the THEQC quality process. The Erasmus+ KA107/171 Project of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which is a brand in internationalization in the Central Anatolia Region (UNIKOP Members and TR71 Region), was selected among 94 projects by the National Agency and accepted with the support of 71415 Euros (1321825 TL).

The Project will provide education Opportunities in Various Countries

The Erasmus+ KA107/171 Project, prepared by the KAEU Foreign Relations Office and selected out of 94 projects, will start to be carried out within the 2022-2023 academic year. Thanks to the project, it is aimed to exchange students, academics, and administrative staff with the project partner universities in Palestine, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Ukraine, Colombia, and New Zealand. Erasmus+ KA 107 International Credit Mobility (ICM) stands out as a new project-based exchange program launched in 2015 as an Erasmus+ program, enabling students and staff to exchange with the Erasmus+ program countries and partner countries. This project aims for university students to experience the education environment of a different country and increase their achievements by taking education in a higher education institution of a partner country as a part of their education life. This opportunity allows university students to study abroad for 3-12 months at a higher education institution. Thanks to the projects and exchange programs supported by the Rectorate of KAEU, the number of international agreements of the university, which was 16 in 2015, reached 200 as of August 2022, and the number of international students, which was 8 in June 2015, became 2400 as of August 2022.
