In TEKNOFEST 2022, the project named "Wearable Wireless Holter (Lifeline)", supervised by the Faculty Member of the KAEU School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Dr. İsmail Ceylan, made it to the finals in the Health and First Aid Category of the Technology For Humanity Competition.

Heart Rate and Respiration Rate Measurement can be Taken with the Wearable Wireless Holter

Health and First Aid Category of TEKNOFEST Technology For Humanity Competition will be held in Rize on 12-14 August this year. The KAEU team wants to bring innovation to the field with a wearable wireless holter that can measure pulse and respiratory rate. Holter is a portable device that records the electrical activities of people with heart-related disorders in their daily life. While the current use of the devices is only to measure and evaluate ECG signals, the developed device consists of a wearable wireless product that can also measure pulse and respiratory rate. The device also transfers the user's data to the mobile device and analyzes the data. It is exciting that the domestically designed device, which is innovative at the international level, has the potential to be used in both treatment and scientific research.
