Karakaya, who started his speech by wishing success to the students who would be placed in universities as a result of their preferences, said, “We welcome our students to our university with 10 well-equipped and well-established faculties. We have 21 thousand students, about 2500 of them foreign students. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is a university with a strong future, managed with quality and applying quality from the bottom to the top''. Noting that the value of the Ahi community was important to them, Karakaya noted that with the "Ahi-Order Culture and Civilization" course, over 20 thousand students reflected the understanding of brotherhood and social principles of a thousand-year-old ancient culture.

Distance Education Could Be Provided With AYDEP, Designed for Formal Education


Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who stated that they tried to promote their universities and the city at every opportunity during the preference days, said, “In this context, we participate in various promotional fairs and events both in the province, in the region, in various parts of Turkey, and even at the international level. In addition, we also participate in online promotion fairs. During the pandemic, we turned the crisis into an opportunity. With the Ahi Competence-Based Education Project (AYDEP), we created a quality assurance system in education, we were able to be held accountable, and identify the transformation in students via the virtual university opportunity. We designed AYDEP for formal education, a unique system with a quality assurance system in education that also gives the opportunity for distance education.”.


Document Open to International Circulation for Graduate Students

Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya emphasized that they are one of the 5 universities that received the Full Institutional Accreditation Certificate in the field of higher education in Turkey in 2021 by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK). All students who graduate from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which has a Full Institutional Accreditation Certificate for 5 years, will be given an internationally valid document, including many quality agencies operating in different countries. Finally, Rector Karakaya, who also talked about the Integrated Quality System, said that they designed their dreams with logic and made touches that would contribute to the strategic goal.

KAEU has 5500 Student Quotas without any Dormitory problems, and Kırşehir Is A Peaceful City

Rector Karakaya, emphasizing that Kırşehir was a student city, from its climate to its natural beauties, from its economic situation to its cultural background, also said about KAEU, “We are the university of a peaceful city that cares about students”. Noting that there were 4623 quotas for preference this year, Karakaya stated that there were 5500 quotas including the foreign student quota. Rector Karakaya said that with nearly 8,000 quotas, they were a university without dormitory or accommodation problems. Stating that universities were universal, Karakaya stated that they had over 200 agreements of Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana projects and that they attached importance to the circulation of information.

At the end of the program, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who gave advice to the university candidate students, noted that every choice was a decision, and asked the students to enroll in the departments they want to be in and love.
