KAEU, which has successfully completed the quality processes and whose quality has been registered, introduced the Integrated Quality Management System and KAEU Ahi Competence-Based Education Management System (AYDEP) to Ankara University. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Vice-Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fener, and Secretary General of Ankara University Ömer Nadir Soylu attended the meeting that took place in the KAEU Senate Hall of the Rectorate on July 30, 2022.




Speaking at the introduction meeting held after the visit to the rectorate office, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya noted that they had developed the system with the implementation of the annual plan and automation and obtained the registration of the quality management systems. He said that the integrated quality management system enabled the implementation of their strategic plans. Reminding that AYDEP adopted a student-centered education and had a competency-based hierarchical structure, Rector Karakaya said: “There is a consensus of the program competencies and the learning outcomes of the courses. Having rich teaching materials and an interactive teaching environment, AYDEP is also in compliance with accreditation standards. AYDEP has all the necessary modules in the management of the teaching process and is an integrated learning management system. The modules work in integration with the student information system and there is information sharing between the modules. I want to remind you that KAEU will continue to make innovations in every field to raise well-equipped and qualified individuals for the future.”



After the speech of Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, Quality Deputy-Coordinator Ekrem Öztürk and Member of the Quality Assurance System in Education Coordinator Dr. Isa Bahat made presentations regarding the meeting. The meeting ended after answering questions about the details of the system and exchanging ideas.
