Members of the Presidency of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSAT) held a meeting with the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, for the Electronic Data Research Center project and the pilot implementation of the project. TURKSAT Vice Presidents Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demir and Serdar Öz, Head of Dissemination and Communication Department Serhat Atakul, Head of Data Collection Department Ahmet Sarı, and Head of Management Projects Management Ömer Türkmenoğlu attended the meeting.


At the meeting, the Electronic Data Research Center project, which was developed within the scope of the digitalization process of Data Research Centers in 13 provinces and enabled to examine the microdata presented by the Presidency of the Turkish Statistical Institute, was discussed. It was decided to start the necessary studies for the pilot implementation of the project.

Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who made an evaluation on the subject at the end of the meeting, stated that they would move to a new stage in scientific studies thanks to their cooperation with TURKSAT and wished that the pilot application would be beneficial for Kırşehir and KAEU.
