Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya examined the Experimental Animals Laboratory, which was established within the Faculty of Medicine, on-site. Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil accompanied him during the visit, which took place in the Faculty of Medicine building on April 14, 2022.

Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kenan Dağlıoğlu, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Medicine of KAEU, gave information about the studies of the laboratory and showed the laboratory to the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya and his companions. Explaining that the Experimental Animals Laboratory was an important need for the Faculty of Medicine, Dağlıoğlu said that thanks to the laboratory, scientific studies at KAEU would increasingly continue. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kenan Dağlıoğlu stated that experimental animals had made important contributions to studies in the field of health, and emphasized that experimental animals were used in subjects such as vaccines, diseases, and tissue and organ transplants. Noting that the students would participate in scientific studies in the Experimental Animals Laboratory and increase their knowledge, experience, and competence, Dağlıoğlu said that they would also work for Kırşehir to be a pioneer in this field in its region.

Rector Karakaya stated that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University was carrying out important studies for its region to become a Health Campus. He believed KAEU would achieve this goal soon, and he noted that the Experimental Animals Laboratory was an important step in the field of health. Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya stated that they would carry out significant scientific studies in the Experimental Animals Laboratory and that they would continue to contribute to science. He wished the Experimental Animals Laboratory to be beneficial to our university and our city, and wished the laboratory team success in their studies.
