The journal of the KAEU Faculty of Education, “Journal of the Faculty of Education(KEFAD)”, in which educational sciences and field education studies are published three times a year, continues its publication life as a peer-reviewed and open-access journal publishing scientific studies in Turkish and English in the field of education.
KEFAD, which was among the top ten journals in "the most viewed journals" list according to TR Index data in 2021, started to be been scanned in the "H. W. Wilson Databases (Education Full Text)" database, which is accepted as the field index in the field of educational sciences and which is an internationally respected index, in 2022. As a result of the devoted work and efforts of Prof. Dr. Bayram Tay, the editor-in-chief of the journal, and Res. Asst. Dr. Murat Baş, who works as the secretariat, the articles published in KEFAD as of 2009 were scanned in the H. W. Wilson Databases index. KEFAD continues the application processes to be scanned in other respected and international indexes accepted in the field of educational sciences.
In virtue of this success, which will increase the prestige of the faculty journal in the scientific community, we congratulate the editor-in-chief Prof. Dr. Bayram Tay, the secretariat Res. Asst. Dr. Murat Baş, and layout editors Res. Asst. Dr. Aykut Bulut and Res. Asst. Tuba Ceylan Çeliker as the faculty administration for the important contributions they have made to the prestige of the journal.
