The Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya came together with the academicians who received awards at the 2021 Academic Achievement Award Ceremony held at KAEU recently. Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and Secretary-General Mehmet Zeki Küçük accompanied the meeting held on March 29, 2022, at the rectorate office.

The Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya who emphasized the importance of education stated that universities were the highest institution in the field of education. After reminding the audience that the West had a shell civilization and that our civilization was made up of our core values, Rector Karakaya continued his speech as follows: “We need to communicate with the society again, produce scientific knowledge and work hard to spread it. It is very significant for our university, which is the inheritor of the Ahi-Order value, to express itself through science. We should contribute to the process of readoption of the values of the Ahi community in our century, and we should strive for this aim.”

Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya who explained that it was very important that our young people, to whom we would entrust our future, were trained by successful academicians, congratulated the award-winning academicians of the 2021 Academic Achievement Award Ceremony and wished to see even more great things from them. After emphasizing that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University carries out successful studies in every field, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya added that academic achievements were also highly valuable for our university.

Following the meeting, the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya and his team had lunch at the Rectorate Dining Hall with the award-winning academicians.
