Experimental Animals Laboratory Unit was established within the Faculty of Medicine of KAEU. The laboratory is expected to make significant contributions to our students at all academic levels and scientific studies at our university. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kenan Dağlıoğlu, a faculty member of KAUE Faculty of Medicine, gave information about the laboratory.

KAEU Faculty of Medicine Aims to Become a Station in its Region with the Laboratory

Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kenan Dağlıoğlu, who noted that they provided experimental animals for root production to the Experimental Animals Laboratory for the first time, stated that the initiation of such a formation within the Faculty of Medicine was an advantage for the students. Reminding that faculties of veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, food, and agriculture would also benefit from the service, Dağlıoğlu said that they aimed to become a station of experimental animals for universities in Central Anatolia Region. Dağlıoğlu also informed that they would open a course program for other units to be able to work experimentally.

KAEU is the First University to Offer "Experimental Animals" Course as an Elective

Stating that they offered the "Experimental Animals" course as an elective course for the first time among the Faculties of Medicine in Turkey, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kenan Dağlıoğlu stated that in this way, students would have an academic understanding that would support their scientific thinking, skills, and new experimental ideas. Dağlıoğlu pointed out that doing some studies on living tissues and discussing this with their teachers would create a scientific advantage for students.
