Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin, Director of KAEU Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center, participated in the program titled "The Power of Women, the Power of Turkey" organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services and held under the auspices of First Lady Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In the program that took place on March 8, 2022, at the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center, March 8 International Women's Day was celebrated.

Speaking at the program, First Lady Emine Erdoğan congratulated International Women's Day of all the women and said that this important day was an occasion to address women's issues and raise awareness regarding them. Emphasizing that the key to a better world would be the empowerment of women in every field, Mrs. Erdoğan continued her speech as follows: “With a beautiful world, we mean a place where poverty is eliminated and nature and its resources are protected in a prosperous, peaceful and stable environment. The construction of such a world is possible with the full delivery of human rights, women's rights, and children's rights."

In the conference, Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin presented Emine Erdoğan the book titled "Kadın ve Aile", which was written with the focus of Anatolia's national and moral values and prepared by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center.  At the end of the conference, Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin had a souvenir photo taken with First Lady Emine Erdoğan.
