KAEU, which continues its academic studies constantly, continues to contribute to the world of science with its academic journals. In this context, KAEU Journal of the Institute of Social Sciences AEÜSBED achieved great success with the number of citations and impact factor it received and ranked third in the list shared by the Social Sciences Research Association (SOBİAD).


The Ranking of AEÜSBED Increased Each Year

AEÜSBED ranked third among 1414 journals published in the fields of Social, Science, and Health in Turkey in 2021, with an impact factor of 1,495, along with the Milli Eğitim Dergisi with the same score. Having one of the most important citations and index databases in Turkey, SOBIAD (www.sobiad.com) scores the journals it scans every year according to the citation status and ranks them according to the impact factor. Our journal, which was ranked 38th in 2019 with an impact factor of 0.625, was ranked 4th with an impact factor of 1.021 with the citations it received from 1367 journals in the 2020 ranking. The journal, which had a constant rise in 2021, took third place with an impact factor of 1.495.


The Journal will Keep on Adding Quality Research to the Science World

Head of the Institute of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Şimşek congratulated journal editor Prof. Dr. Ayfer Şahin and her secretariat, he stated that the journal will keep on adding qualified research to the scientific world without sacrificing scientific publishing principles. The editor of the journal, Şahin, stated that they work with a strong secretariat and thanked the young scientists who took charge. Stating that the journal has been scanned in the ULAKBİM TR Index since 2018, Şahin said that the journal, which is being scanned by many important indexes, had been published twice a year until 2019, and that it took intensive interest from researchers due to the increase in the impact factor.

The Journal of the Institute of Social Sciences has increased its publication period to three since 2019 to meet the demands of the editorial board of AEÜSBED. There have been attempts to scan the journal in international field indexes to increase its recognition in the scientific world.
