Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, one of the 5 pilot universities selected within the scope of the Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project, continues to make a name for itself with its successful works in the projects. A delegation from Batman University, who wanted to benefit from the experience of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, which is a pilot university in the field of "Agriculture and Geothermal", visited KAEU on 23 December 2021. Firstly, Vice-Rector of Batman University Prof. Dr. Necmettin Sezgin, Secretary-General Assoc. Dr. Ömer Faruk Ertuğrul, Quality Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Aydın, and Kozluk Vocational School Director and Rector Advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Rıda Tür met with the Vice-Rector of KAEU, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, within the scope of the visit.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, who met with the Batman University Delegation in the Senate Hall of KAEU, gave information about the pilot projects carried out by KAEU. Stating that KAEU has produced and implemented many projects in the field of Agriculture and Geothermal, Kurt emphasized that the university and Kırşehir gained significant momentum thanks to the projects.

The comittee, which received information about the pilot projects from the Vice-Rector of KAEU, Prof Dr Mustafa Kurt, then visited the R&D Greenhouse and received information about the activities of the greenhouse from the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Project Coordinator Assistant Prof. Dr. Hakan Başak. Başak explained that they have activated the R&D Greenhouse with the "Clustering Project in Thermal Greenhouses", which is one of the projects of the university, which was selected as a pilot university in the field of "Agriculture and Geothermal" within the scope of the Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project and he noted that they are doing greenhouse cultivation in greenhouses with the project and that they aim to activate greenhouse activities in the region.

The Batman University comittee, which examined the projects carried out by the university, lastly met with the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya. Batman University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Sezgin congratulated Rector Karakaya and his team for their successful work.

Stating that KAEU has an important place in the development of the city with its pilot university projects, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya said that they started to bear the fruit of the projects they carried out. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Rector Karakaya thanked Batman University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Sezgin and his companions.
