KAEU, which has made a name for itself with its success in sports activities, has achieved another success thanks to the opportunities and support it provides to its students.


Merve Dinçel, a 3rd year student of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department of School of Physical Education and Sports of KAEU, participated in the WT Women's Open World Championship. In the women's open world championship organized for the first time by the World Taekwondo Federation in Riyadh, Merve Dinçel won the gold medal, competing in 53 kg final. The national athlete Merve Dinçel defeated Alma Perez Corrado from Spain with a golden kick and became the champion and brought Turkiye 40 Olympic points.
