Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın visited the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) Accreditation Program Evaluation Team, which came to Kırşehir to examine the works carried out within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) evaluation process. During the visit to the rectorate office on 8 December 2021, Governor Akın received information about the process, from Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, and Head of IAP Evaluation Team Prof. Dr. Macit Fikret Suner and his team members.

Governor Akın indicated that he believes that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University will accomplish the field and face-to-face evaluation process carried out between 7-8-9 December 2021 and said that a university that improves its adaptability, aligned with technological developments, will empower its region and city. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya stated that they carry out studies by considering the developments in the world, the goals of the development plan, the policies of the Council of Higher Education, the needs of the region, and the facilities of the university. Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya also said that they determined their mission, vision, education, research, and contribution to society policies regarding these parameters.

Karakaya, who thanked Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın for his support on IAP process as in every other issue, expressed his satisfaction with the visit.
