Serdar Eygün, the Board Chairman of Agronet Greenhouse Corporation, with whom the university cooperated in the implementation of the Geothermal Greenhouse Project, one of the Regional Development and Specialization Projects of KAEU in the past years, visited Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya to continue the cooperation. Vice-Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and Founding Partner of Viaveri Technology Mertkan Acar, Deputy General Manager of BİB Technology Gökhan Erzurumluoğlu, Project Coordinator of BİB Technology Mehmet Akif Köylü, and their companies attended the visit, which was held on 6 December 2021 at the rectorate office.

The Board Chairman of Agronet Greenhouse Corporation Serdar Eygün stated that they are pleased to be in cooperation with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and stated that they expect the support of KAEU in the Artificial Intelligence Supported Greenhouse Image Processing Project. Eygün noted that they provided employment to Kırşehir in the Geothermal Greenhouse Project and that the university provided support regarding workers and training for them, intern students, analysis product marketing, bureaucracy, and design. He emphasized that they would start using the new generation technology in greenhouse cultivation with the Artificial Intelligence Supported Greenhouse Image Processing Project. Agronet Greenhouse Corporation Board Chairman Serdar Eygün said that their bilateral relations with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University will always continue, and he thanked the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya and his team for their support and cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya stated that they would be happy to take part in any kind of cooperation organized for the development of Kırşehir and said that they will give their best support in the Artificial Intelligence Supported Greenhouse Image Processing Project. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Rector Karakaya thanked the Board Chairman of Agronet Greenhouse Corporation Serdar Eygün and the accompanying people.
