The device, which aims to measure the agility and jumping performance of athletes and whose patent studies have been started by the KAEU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) in recent years, which is developed by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Technical Sciences Vocational School Computer Technologies Department Instr. Ferhat Toslak and Assoc. Dr. Emrah Aydemir, who is a former staff of KAEU, ​has been granted a patent registration certificate.

Leading the way in getting the device patent, TTO Director Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Kurban presented the patent registration document to the Rector of KAEU, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, at the rector's office on October 19, 2021. Kurban, who provided information about the patent registered in the name of KAEU, said, “Thanks to the patent named 'AGILITY AND JUMP MEASURING DEVICE AND THE APPLICATION METHOD OF THE DEVICE', the development of a training system that enables the athletes to increase their performance by measuring the jump heights of the athletes with maximum accuracy has been paved.” After thanking the FSMH Evaluation Board, the TTO team, and the stakeholders who cooperated with them, especially the Rector of KAEU, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who supported their initiatives on Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (FSMH), and Kurban said that the patent works will continue on behalf of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya wished that the patent named "AGILITY AND JUMP MEASURING DEVICE AND THE APPLICATION METHOD OF THE DEVICE", which is the first for KAEU, will be beneficial for the university and stated that they are glad that the Technology Transfer Office has taken the necessary steps to bring the inventions with high commercialization capacity to the university.
