The AHİLAB brand of the Central Research and Application Laboratory, which supports the projects of KAEU with scientific studies, has been registered and taken under protection. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya visited the Center Research and Application Laboratory and received information from the authorities on the subject. Vice Rector Prof Dr Mustafa Kurt accompanied the visit that took place on October 11, 2021.

 

ADirector of AHİLAB Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Çınarlı informed the Rector of KAEU, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, about the studies of the Central Research and Application Laboratory and the registration of the AHİLAB brand. Çınarlı stated that the AHİLAB brand is currently registered in three classes, and trademark registration is an important step in production and marketing. In the continuation of the visit, they visited the Hekatomnos Mausoleum, which was scanned and transferred to the computer environment in three dimensions by Res. Asst. Dr. Ömer Uzunel, who is responsible for AHİLAB Cultural Heritage Preservation Laboratory, via virtual reality glasses. Rector Karakaya, who visited the mausoleum with virtual glasses, expressed his satisfaction with the system and asked for studies to be carried out to expand the study to serve the regional culture and educational activities.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya emphasized that the Central Research and Application Laboratory of KAEU is one of the best laboratories in the region and said that he believes that AHİLAB will accomplish much better works with its registration. Rector Karakaya, stated that AHİLAB, which also contributed greatly to pilot university projects, is one of the important projects of KAEU, and it has its own R&D studies. He stated that they are progressing step by step and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is a shining star in its region in every field. Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, who said that they are satisfied with the branding of AHİLAB, congratulated AHİLAB Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Çınarlı, Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Manager Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Kurban, AHİLAB and TTO personnel for making great efforts during the trademark registration.

At the end of the visit, AHİLAB Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Çınarlı, presented the certificate of registration to Rector of KAEU, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya.
