Within the scope of TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, organized for the fourth time this year under the direction of Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the awards were given.

KAEU Has Won Second Place in Project Category of Biotechnology Innovation Competition

TEKNOFEST 2021 was held with great enthusiasm and excitement at Atatürk Airport between 21-26 September 2021 with the slogan of Turkey's National Technology Move. In TEKNOFEST 2021, the project named "Bioactive Peptide Production from Fish Waste", which was prepared by KAEU Kaman Vocational School Food Processing Department Inst. Şefik Tekle, was awarded the second prize in the Project Category of the Biotechnology Innovation Competition at university level.

KAEU Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, in his statement on the subject, said: "We are proud to win an award from TEKNOFEST 2021, which draws new horizons and gives the youth a vision. I congratulate our academic staff and wish them continued success. I think that the project will make a positive contribution to biotechnology, food safety and sustainable environment, and Zero Waste Project, which are among the targets of the Eleventh Development Plan. As Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, I believe that the projects the university carry out in order to contribute to the national technology move of our country will continue to increase in the next year."
