Continuing his efforts for the development and change of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya examined the construction of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, which is very important for our university, city, and region, on-site. During the visit that took place on 20 August 2021, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel and Secretary-General Mehmet Zeki Küçük, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences Prof. Dr. Cemalettin İpek, Benevolent Muzaffer Marşap from Kırşehir and their delegation accompanied them.


With the Presidential decision dated May 13, 2020, and numbered 24776198-903.02-56, the building of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, which was included in the 2020 investment program of our university, Prof. Dr. As a result of the intense efforts of Vatan Karakaya, the foundation was laid and the reinforced concrete construction of the ground floor and first floor of the building was completed. With the protocol signed later, it was decided that the reinforced concrete cage of the second floor, third floor, and roof manufacturing of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences would be completed by the Benevolent Muzaffer Marşap and transferred to the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Rectorate. At this stage, the rough construction of the faculty building was completed by the Muzaffer Marşap and transferred to KAEU.

Rector Karakaya, who explained that the works on the construction of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences are continuing rapidly, noted that the reinforced concrete carcass construction of the faculty has been completed and the fine workmanship has begun. Explaining that they have made rapid progress with the inclusion of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences building in the investment program dated May 13, 2020, Karakaya stated that they will continue their work without slowing down for the building to become operational.

The Faculty of Islamic Sciences, which has a land area of ​​10 thousand 259 m², consists of three floors, excluding the basement and the ground floor. All the details including the library, meeting and conference hall, cafeteria, computer labs, and two seminar halls have been considered so that the students can receive a better quality education in the building, where there are seventeen classrooms in total. In addition, various trees and plants, as well as parking areas, were designed in the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, where environmental and landscaping are also given importance.
