In the 2021-2022 academic year, the Faculty of Medicine will start giving anatomy education to our students using two cadavers as well as a rich model collection. With the training that willbe held in our new morphology building, the Ahi doctors of the future will be provided with the opportunity to see the human body in its most realistic aspect with the cadaver, which is afundamental part of anatomy science.

The Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicinehas completed its preparations for the new education period with its competent teaching staff, including 1 professor, 1 assistant professor, 1 research assistant and, 4 graduate students. The Faculty of Medicine is getting prepared to give face-to-face anatomy education, as well asto offer our students the opportunity of online lessons over the internet.

TheExperimental Animals LaboratoryIs BeingEstablished In TheFaculty Of Medicine

An Experimental Animals Laboratory Unit is being established within the Faculty of Medicine of our University. The laboratory, which is planned to be functioning in the 2021-2022 academic year, is expected to make significant contributions to our students at all academic levels and scientific studies at our university. With the opportunities offered by the Laboratory of Experimental Animals, a critical opportunity will be provided for the academic studiesand the projects to be carried outin the national and international arena at our university.

Experimental Animals Course is added to the curriculum as an elective starting from this year for the Medical Faculty students to practice and increase their familiarity with scientific studies. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and the Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa KasımKarahocagilthankedRector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya for hiunflagginsupport andexpressed his belief that the Ahi doctors of the future will be the pioneers of health.
