The special talent exam for the admission of students to the Faculty of Sport Sciences of our university started on August 18, 2021. As in previous years, there was broad participation in the exam, which was held at the Indoor Sports Hall in our central campus. Pre-registration applications for the exam were made between 09 – 16 August 2021; there were 174 applications for the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department, 309 for the Sports Management Department, and 742 for the Coaching Education Department. 828 male and 397 female students, 25 of whom are national athletes, of the applicants; 1225 candidates in total qualified to take the exam.
On August 18, 2021, the Rector of our university, who closely follows the student admission process of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Dr. Vatan Karakaya examined the hall where the exams were held. During the visit, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and our Secretary-General Mehmet Zeki Küçük accompanied Rector Karakaya. After receiving information about the exam held by the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ersan Kara, Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya wished success to all candidates who worked hard to enter the rankings. The special talent exam, which started on August 18, 2021, will end on August 21, 2021.
