In our university, a promotion program was organized for the administrators and guidance teachers at high schools functioning under the Kırşehir Directorate of National Education. The program was held at the Congress and Culture Center of our University on August 3, 2021, as part of the Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Choice and Promotion Days activities. In the program, which was moderated by the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. by Vatan Karakaya; the vice-rectors of our university and the administrators of our academic and administrative units were also present to answer the questions of the guests. In addition to Kırşehir Director of National Education Metin Alpaslan, many high school administrators and guidance counselors attended the program as guests. In his speech, Director of National Education Metin Alpaslan stated that as a teacher who graduated from Kırşehir Education Institute, he is very proud of the development of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University over the years and that it has become an exemplary institution that hosts thousands of students today.
After Kırşehir Provincial Director of National Education Metin Alpaslan, Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya gave a speech about the past, present, and future vision of our university. In his speech, Rector Karakaya, who underlined the importance of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University as a development locomotive for our city and its region, stated that it would make them happy if students from Kırşehir consider our university as one of their priority choices. Emphasizing that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, among the universities established after 2006, has experienced a very important development momentum, Karakaya stated that they contributed to the growth of the university with over 70 departments which they have opened since they took office in 2015. Stating that they have established a system where 20 thousand students can get education simultaneously, thanks to the Ahi Competence-Based Education Portal, Rector Prof. Karakaya expressed that they work with an understanding that values students.
