The Women's Academy, which was organized by Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center of our university, graduated its students with a ceremony held on July 7, 2021. The graduation ceremony was held at the Congress and Culture Center of our university, and our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin, Deputy Mayor of Kırşehir Osman Uçar, and Saliha Akın, the wife of Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın as guests of honor, as well as our graduates and their families attended the ceremony.


The opening speech of the ceremony was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Director of Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center, Dr. Nur Cetin, and made it. Underlining that the family is the cornerstone of society, Prof. Çetin stated that the Women's Academy aims to strengthen women and the family. Emphasizing that the training given at the Women's Academy was based on a strong awareness of women, families, and society; Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin stated that they believe that women have the power to change the world. Prof. Çetin concluded the speech by congratulating the first graduates of the Women's Academy and added that they will continue to work with the aim of empowering women as the Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center.

After Prof. Dr. Nur Çetin, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt also gave a speech. Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt underlined the valuable place of women in the Turkish-Islamic civilization and emphasized that the basic constituent of the family is women. Prof. Kurt concluded his speech by stating that they attach great importance to women's studies as a university, therefore, they are with them in all kinds of studies that Fatma Bacı Women's Studies Application and Research Center will do.

After the opening speeches, the ceremony ended with the distribution of certificates to the graduates and those who contributed to the education.
