The 2nd International Cappadocia Social Sciences Student Congress (KAPSOSBİL 2020) hosted by Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University and in cooperation with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Aksaray University and Niğde Ömer Halis Demir University was organized. The Rector of our university Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, the Rector of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin, the Rector of Aksaray University Prof. Dr. Yusuf Şahin and the Rector of Niğde Ömer Halis Demir University Prof. Dr. Muhsin Kar attended the conference that took place on the date of 16th December 2020 and at NEVU Congress and Culture Center Karavezir Hall. 
The aim of the congress is to bring together the students who study in the field of Social Sciences, assist them with experience sharing, enable them to get prepared for academic life by observing the academicians who are specialists in their field of study. The third of the congress will take place at our university next year. 

Rector Karakaya: “Internationalization and Knowledge Sharing of the Universities is Crucial”

The Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya gave a speech at the conference and he started his words by saying that congresses have changed basis in accordance with the changing conditions as a result of the pandemic and the scientific studies are conducted by keeping up with the conditions of the time. He also highlighted the significance of internationalization and knowledge sharing of the universities along with carrying out their educational activities. He extended his sincere thanks to the ones who made contributions in the organization process of the International Cappadocia Social Sciences Student Congress.
