Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues to make contributions to regional development with its studies on the fields of agriculture and geothermal. With the support of our university, the first products have been harvested from the geothermal greenhouse built on 126 decares of land.
In this 126 decares first part of the greenhouse 142 employee work, when all three parts are activated it is planned to provide employment for almost 500 people. Only one product is planned to be raised for the rest of the year. It is planned to harvest almost 60 tons of products per decar. Tomato has been raised in the greenhouse by using geothermal water and they have been harvested as they grow and they will be exported in the following days.
