UNITED YOUNG ACADEMICIANS
II. International Turkic World Young Academicians Congress
“Building a Common Future”

Dear scientists,

In an increasingly globalized world, regional integration movements are gaining prominence. Among these, the Turkic world—comprising communities that speak Turkic languages and span diverse geographies—is making significant strides toward integration. The notion of unity among these communities, which share a common history, language, culture, and values, has deep historical roots. The communication and interaction among these communities have intensified, particularly following their independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. A notable outcome of this integration process is the establishment of the Organisation of Turkic States, inspired by Ismail Gaspıralı’s motto:
“Unity in Language, Idea, Work.”

Successful integration processes globally often commence with cultural interaction. The Turkic communities, having lived in various regions for extended periods, exhibit notable linguistic and cultural differences influenced by their environments. To address these differences, various initiatives are being implemented to foster mutual understanding among the Turkic communities. A robust integration process necessitates the transformation of distinct cultures into shared values while emphasizing existing historical, cultural, and social commonalities.

As members of the Union of Young Academics, we are committed to contributing academically to the ongoing integration within the Turkic world. We are organizing “II. International Turkic World Young Academicians Congress” following the inaugural event held in Ankara. This year’s congress will take place in Uzbekistan, a significant cultural and economic center within the Turkic world, and is themed “Building a Common Future.” We invite you to participate in this event, which aims to unite young academics from various higher education institutions across the Turkic world and promote academic integration.
