Applied Training of Project Preparation and Implementation in the Field of Health and Biotechnology is Starting

In the coordination of the KAEU Academic Development Support Office, Applied Training of Project Preparation and Implementation in the Field of Health and Biotechnology will be organized. The training will take place on 16-18 November. 

The Purpose of the Training
It is aimed to develop the basic knowledge and skills of the academic staff who work in applied fields and related disciplines, primarily in biotechnology and health sciences, in project preparation and implementation. It is aimed to increase the number of researchers in preparing projects for TÜBİTAK support programs, to develop their research skills, and to gain skills in teamwork with the techniques of identifying new study topics. In addition, the issues to be considered while writing a project will be discussed in detail.

Scope and Setup of the Training Program
The training program will be carried out by faculty members working in different universities and in the fields of Health and Biotechnology, who have experience as an executive in national and international projects supported by TUBITAK. Faculty members who will contribute to the program as trainers are:

• Prof. Dr. Hamdi Soner ALTUNDOĞAN (Fırat University– Bioengineering)
• Prof. Dr. Muhammet Şaban TANYILDIZI (Fırat University- Bioengineering)
• Prof. Dr. Hamdi TEMEL (Yozgat Bozok University- Pharmacology Department)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aycan GÜNDOĞDU (Erciyes University- Microbiology Department)

The training program will be conducted in two formats, theoretical and practical. In the first part, which will include 45 participants, basic information about the project proposal preparation processes will be given. In the second part, the participants will be divided into 3 groups of 15 people and project writing training will be carried out practically. Project proposal drafts of the participants will be discussed and corrected in these sessions.

• Participation in the event is free.
• The event will be held face-to-face.
• The participant quota is limited to 45 people.
• At the end of the training, participants will be awarded a certificate.
